I great you heartily welcome to holler.no version 3. These family sites has continuously changed and upgrade since the start in 2004. At that moment I knew were a little about the Holler family in Norway. I knew that it was a very few members that own the Holler name, but were they all in the same family, or did it exist more than one with different origin?

Today I know that there is at least two different kind of families:

Descendent from Johann Frederik Holler and Cicilia Catrine Bergh who lived in the second half of 1700. They were located at Hurdal in Akershus, and at least Johann Fredrik was from Denmark. I have not yet any 100% prove of his ancestors, but strong logical evidence.

Descendent from a Holler with unknown given name. He was born in Denmark, and I guess that had to be in the late 1800.

Since both are from Denmark, they might have a connection. Were those Holler Families in Denmark descendent from are uncertain, but guesses goes to German Holler families in the northern part of German.
